So, what do I have in common with George Washington (as least as told by Lin Manuel Miranda)? I’ve got my right hand man (or woman, as the case may be) back. On July 1, Angela Williams joined the team as our Director of Marketing and Client Relations.
In addition to spearheading our marketing efforts, she will be fielding questions from clients, managing the flow of documents and keeping cases on track. Having her on board is already making our operations run more smoothly and reducing my stress level!
Angela’s first big marketing event will be the Active Aging & Wellness Resource Fair at the Four Winds Casino – South Bend Hotel and Event Center. The Fair will run from 10 am to 3 pm on September 7. VanderVeen Elder and Special Needs Law is a Gold Sponsor of the event and if you are attending, stop by our table and say hello!
In other news, I was recently recognized in the 2024 edition of The Best Lawyers in America® as a Best Lawyer in Elder Law and Trust and Estates Law. We’re heading into a busy fall conference season with presentations in South Bend, Indianapolis, Chicago and Florida. I always come back from these meetings with new ideas that I learn from my colleagues around the nation.
